The Google Accounts vs Gmail accounts is a good introduction to that information. It's dates however. It was created when Google Apps and/or Google Suite was the term for Google Subscription service, which now goes by the name of Google Workspace.
The "custom save as" script was an attempt to introduce folks at a functional programming need and a method for achiving it that was easy if they had the right support. The code is still valid, but google has released a new Script editor so all the detailed instuctions for that are now out of context. That is a huge problem with creating speciic technology education.
